Finally, the wait is almost over as the hotly-anticipated Hyundai Creta compact SUV will be presented to the Indian auto lovers in just a couple of days. Now, ahead of its official launch in the country, the dealers of Hyundai have started accepting the bookings for its new compact SUV in the country.
Expected to fall in the price range of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh, Hyundai Creta, the SUV based on ix25, is tipped to make its debut in India on 21 July. The production of the new Creta has already begun at the company's plant and the unofficial bookings are also underway against a down payment of ₹50,000. The official website of Hyundai Creta has already been launched.
Meanwhile, Creta has been snapped once again while undergoing testing on the roads, this time by the motor buffs at Motoroids.
From the images, Hyundai Creta is seen in its completely revealed avatar with no hint of camouflage. Seen donned in black body colour, the latest spy shots show the side and rear profile of Creta in detail. The speculated features of Hyundai Creta include Projector headlamps, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate-control system, cruise control, reverse parking camera and ABS with EBD.
Under the hood, Hyundai Creta is likely to get 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills with 5- and 6-speed manual transmission.
