Hyundai Motor India Limited showcased the 1st Anniversary Edition of the Creta SUV last month and the first unit was gifted to badminton player of India Saina Nehwal for her win in the Australian Open Championship. Ahead of the market launch this month, price and feature details of the special edition have been leaked online.
Hyundai Creta 1st anniversary edition will be offered in both 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills in SX+ variant only. The special edition of the Creta in petrol has been priced at Rs 12,50,717, while diesel variant comes for Rs 14, 06,961, ex-showroom, Surat, Gujarat reports TeamBHP.
The 1st anniversary edition of the Creta will be available in Polar White colour with a contrasting black roof. It features stripe styled body decals in red and grey on the sides and rear. The special edition boasts of 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, bright silver skid plates and special badge on the C-pillar. The SUV's C-pillar and integrated spoiler are also finished in black colour.
In the interior, the Anniversary Edition gets a black dashboard with red accents. The seat upholstery also gets dual tone treatment in red and black. It will also come with leather wrapped steering wheel.
The 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine in the Creta churns out 121bhp and 151Nm of torque, while the 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine develops 126bhp and 259Nm of torque. Both the engines are available with either six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Being a special edition, Creta's 1st anniversary edition will be produced in limited numbers. The 1st anniversary edition's prices are nearly Rs 39,000 higher than the regular SX+ variants.
