"The Hunger Games" fans are in for a real treat as scoop from the sets of the new film have started to spill out. The latest report reveals how Jennifer Lawrence escaped a death scare during shooting.
The Oscar-winning actress reportedly escaped a potentially dangerous situation while shooting for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2". Apparently, JLaw was all set to shoot a sequence where she had to swim carrying an archery kit on her back. Since the kit weighed around 15kgs, the actress found it difficult to swim upstream. As soon as she jumped into the water, the weight of the kit pulled her down, almost drowning her.
Thanks to the safety measures, security personnel dived into the water and pulled Jennifer back to the shore. The filmmakers later arranged for a dummy kit for the particular shot.
Meanwhile, fans have been raving about the new poster of the last instalment in "The Hunger Games" series, which was unveiled recently. The poster shows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), the District 12 hero, in a new red suit, standing atop the overthrown statue of President Snow in the Panem Capitol, as her allies stand in the foreground.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is slated to release on 20 November, 2015.
