Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in India and who's who of Bollywood wants to work with him. Several actors have expressed their desire to work with Salman in his films and among them is actress Huma Qureshi.
Salman is all geared up for his next release "Sultan" and will start the shooting in a week's time.
But the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the female lead. And if reports are to be believed, Huma Qureshi is making the most of this opportunity to get a lead role in Salman's next.
According to reports, Huma has been sending feelers to Salman to get the lead role opposite him in "Sultan" directed by Abbas Zaffar.
"Huma has been warming up to him as well as his manager Reshma Shetty, who invariably influences Salman's casting decision," 9XE.com quoted a source close to the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor as saying.
So will Huma get the lead role? Well, only the makers of "Sultan" can tell.
Meanwhile, there were reports that Kangana Ranaut was approached for the female lead role, but she said no as Sooraj Pancholi was a part of the film.
But Sooraj clarified saying that he is not a part of the film and he also said that he is open to work with anyone in future.
Speculation was rife that Parineeti Chopra has been roped in for the female lead role.
"Pari's always been a YRF favourite; the choice was not surprising. Aditya (Chopra) was angry with Kangana for talking about the film. He immediately called her up and got her on board. Obviously, Pari won't say no to her mentor!," DNA quoted a source as saying.
But there have been no official announcement from the makers of "Sultan".
