Huawei is rumoured to be working on its next-generation P11 flagship. It seems that those plans are becoming solid as representatives at an event in Germany confirmed that the new flagship will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2018.
Roland Quandt a reliable leakster has also claimed that the Huawei P11 flagship would be debuting in Q1 2018. In addition, he claimed that the company will be focusing more on a stellar camera and AI experience on the upcoming flagship Huawei P11.
So the Huawei P11 seems to be a Q1 2018 thing (again). We were just promised "exciting new products" with a focus on camera and AI for Q1 at a local german Huawei Xmas event. Could be MWC like the P10.

There are many speculations about this smartphone like the three camera feature. According to the images which were leaked earlier this month, the next generation "P" series smartphones will feature a 40-megapixel Leica triple-lens camera setup with 5x hybrid zoom and a 24-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter.
Huawei had announced its P10 series flagship phones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event. And it is believed and speculated that Huawei P11 series will get the official announcement at MWC 2018 event that will be held between February 26 and March 1 in Barcelona, Spain.
As far as Artificial Intelligence is concerned, P11 is likely to be equipped with Kirin 970 chipset that features a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU). The P11 may arrive with more AI capabilities than the Mate 10 smartphones.
Recent leaks have revealed that Huawei P11, codenamed EMILY, may arrive with a notch just like iPhone-X on its 6-01-inch LCD display. It will be running on EMUI 8.0-based Android 8.0 Oreo.
