Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has introduced two new Ascend series smartphones - G510 and Y300 - into the burgeoning Indian smartphone market.
Huawei Ascend G510 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA LCD display and runs on Android v4.1 mobile OS Jelly Bean powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processors.
Ascend Y300, on the other hand, pack pretty decent features. It is one of the very few smartphones in the market with a sub ₹8,000 price to run on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS and house a 1GHz dual-core processor.
With such feature-rich specifications and a low price tag, both smartphones have the potential to give stiff challenge to Indian low-cost smartphones.
Huawei's Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 are now available for ₹10,990 and ₹7980, respectively, through Flipkart.
