Chinese based telecommunication major, Huawei launched an affordable water-proof smartphone Honor 3 on Friday.
The new mid-range Huawei smartphone sports a 4.7-inch LCD screen with HD 720x1280p display resolutions and run on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by the company's in-house built K3V2 quad-core processor which can top maximum CPU speed close to 1.5GHz and houses 8GB inbuilt storage space (expandable via microSD card).
Huawei Honor 3 houses a 13.0-megapixel camera with Sony's Exmor RS image sensor on the rear side and a pretty decent 1.3-megapixel snapper on its front side.
The striking features of the Huawei honor 3 is that it is one of the cheapest smartphones to boast off 2GB RAM, water-proof and dust resistant certifications. Users can take picture under water up to three feet for close to 30 minutes.
The new smartphone is currently available in China for ¥1888, approximately ₹20,300 in terms of Indian rupee. It won't come as a surprise if the Chinese manufacturer decides to roll out its new phone in India in the coming days as the low price can attract Indians.
