A presentation slide show of the purported Huawei made Google Nexus 6P has surfaced online, giving new insights on the upcoming device's design and internal hardware.
An anonymous tipster has posted the Huawei Nexus 6P's slide show, actually meant for retail store staff, on online image sharing community website Imgur.
The leaked presentation shows 16 slides detailing that Huawei's Nexus 6P will sport all-metal unibody design, thus making it the Google's first ever premium metal-based Vanilla Android phone. Despite the generous use of metal, the phone is said to weigh 178 gm, 6gm less than its polycarbonate-based predecessor Motorola Nexus 6.
On the front, it sports 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display with Gorilla Glass 4 shield. It also features dual speaker, one each on top and at bottom.
On the back, it houses black hued curved rectangular module on top featuring the camera with dual-tone LED flash and laser auto-focus and fingerprint sensor. Just below it, the company has incorporated the fingerprint sensor module with metal ring. We also see the vertically engraved 'nexus' logo and the company's Huawei brand name typed below it.
There is no word on the specifications of camera, but rumour has it that Huawei Nexus 6P will feature 21MP on the rear side.
Under the hood, it comes packed with latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powered by the Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 810 Octa-core v2.1 SoC (System on Chip), 32GB/64GB/128GB storage and a 3450 mAh battery, reported Android Police.
Out of the 16 slides in the leaked presentation copy, one (12th) gives a glimpse on the Huawei Nexus 6P's smaller sibling, LG Google Nexus 5X's rear side.
Unlike its taller brethren, Nexus 5X's camera module design is a bit different. It houses circular camera module in the middle on the top with laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash placed to the left side. The nexus branding and company name placement is same as in the Huawei phone. [Check out the leaked slide-show, HERE]
Other stipulated internal hardware feature of Nexus 5X, like RAM, battery, camera and storage capacity were not detailed in the slide show.
But if we go by recent media reports, Nexus 5X is said to be a less premium compared to Huawei Nexus 6P. It will reportedly sport a 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor backed by 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor, Type-C USB port and a 2,700 mAh battery. Other expected features include a 12.3MP main camera at the rear and 5MP snapper at the front.
Both LG and Huawei Nexus devices are expected to be unveiled on 29 September at Left Space Studios in San Francisco at 9 am PDT (9.30 pm IST). Stay tuned for more updates.
