Huawei's much-awaited flagship Mate 9, which was unveiled in its home country China earlier last month, will reportedly hit the stores in the United States early next month.
Popular leakster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has claimed in a tweet that the Huawei Mate 9 will be released in the US on January 6. Surprisingly, the 64GB variant of the device is currently available on Amazon at $799 and the 126GB model at $899. It is reported that US carriers are interested in bringing the Huawei's flagship to the country.

The Huawei Mate 9 boasts of an all-metal Unibody design language with sand-blasted texture, measures 156.9x78.9x7.9 mm in dimension, weighs 190g, sports a 5.9-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080 pixels (373 ppi pixel density), powered by a HUAWEI Kirin 960 (2.5GHz Cortex A73 x 4 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53 x 4) octa-core CPU +i6 co-processor,a nd runs Android 7.0 with EMUI v5.0 operating system.
The coms packed with a 64GB internal memory expandable up to 256GB via microSD card and a 4GB RAM. It features a 20MP Monochrome and 12MP RGB main cameras with f/2.2 aperture, OIS (Optical image stablization), BSI CMOS sensor, Dual-tone flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus, and a 4,000mAh battery with SuperCharge technology which power up the phone up to 58 percent within half an hour enough to provide full day talk time.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports Dual SIM (model: MHA-L29), Single SIM (model: MHA-L09), fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac: dual band: 2.4GHz & 5GHz), Type C USB port, NFC (Near Field Communication), IR sensor, and GPS/GLONASS.
The Huawei Mate 9 will be initially released in China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand and United Arab Emirates for €699 (around $776/Rs. 51,748).
