There are too many rumours hovering around Huawei's Mate 8. On Friday, some leaked images on the Internet showed various specifications about the device. I4U reported the device will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and will pack powerful specifications inside.
The Huawei Mate 8 will purportedly feature a bezel-less design and a 6-inch display but there are no clues about the display resolution yet. There is a confusion about its name also. While some are claiming it is likely to be named 'Huawei Mate 8', others sayd Huawei might name it 'Mate 7S' or 'Mate S'.
Apart from the 6-inch display, the device is also purported to feature a marathon 4,500 mAh battery inside and powered by a home baked Kirin 935 SoC, though some sources are claiming it might come up with the Exynos 7420 chipset, which is visible in Samsung's latest flagship devices, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
The Huawei Mate 8 is also likely to feature 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and expected to come with a Sony developed IMX278 13MP rear camera and a Mali-T880 GPU chip.
The device is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2015, which will be held from 4 to 9 September this year.
