Huawei launched its latest affordable tablet, the Honor T1, for sale in India through the e-retailer Flipkart. The new Android tablet was originally launched in Malaysia in late-September. The company has also announced the global release of the Honor T1 slated for later this month priced at $157.

The 8-inch display in the Honor T1 sports 1280 x 800-pixel resolution display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, according to the product page. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and supports 3G and voice calling facilities. On the camera side, there is a 5-megaxpixel rear shooter with a VGA camera on the front.
