Chinese consumer electronics giant, Huawei, has confirmed that the flagship smartphone Honor 6 Plus will be launched in India next week.
The new Honor 6 Plus is expected to go on sale via Flipkart on 24 March, but the price details of the device are still under wraps. In china, Huawei's new phone which is already on sale, costs CNY ¥1999, that's approximately ₹20,050 in Indian currency.
The USP of Honor 6 Plus is that it boasts a feature-rich dual-8.0-mp camera having bionic parallel dual lens, a revolutionary technology which enables the phone to capture SLR (Single Lens Reflex) quality pictures with up to 4160×3120p resolution. It also houses an 8mp snapper on the front and to further enhance the photography experience, the company has pre-loaded camera apps in the phone.
Under the hood, it ships with Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with Emotion 3.0 UI), in-house built HiSilicon Kirin 925 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM, 32GB memory and 3080 mAh battery.
Competition:
Once released, it will be competing with popular OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4, Lenovo Vibe X2, Samsung Galaxy S5 and others.
