Even as gadget lovers are eagerly waiting for Huawei to launch its Mate 8, a mysterious device with codename Huawei ABC-UL00 has surfaced on a benchmarking site, making many believe that it could be the Huawei Honor 5X Plus.
The Chinese company is yet to reveal anything about its new device Huawei ABC-UL00 but its appearance on the website has given a clear hint that its release date is not far off. It won't come as a surprise if it is launched along with Mate 8 in November.
The GFXBench has revealed a device codenamed Huawei ABC-UL00 and a report by GSM Arena has claimed that it could be the Huawei Honor 5X Plus, the bigger version of the Honor 5X that was released recently.
According to details provided on GFXBench, the mysterious device -- Huawei ABC-UL00 – sports a 5.2-inch display with 1920x1080 pixels, powered by octa core Kirin 935 chip clocking at 2.2GHz and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It also has ARM mali-T624 GPU, 53 GB storage, 2.7 GB RAM, 12 MP main camera and 7 MP front snapper.
Huawei's new device will have to take on devices like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 when it is released. Xiaomi's just unveiled device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, powered by MediaTek's Helio X10 chipset and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based MIUI 7 OS. It comes packed with 2 GB RAM for 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM for 32 GB variant, 13 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper and a 4,000mAh battery. The price of the device starts at RMB 899 (approximately $140).
