Huawei Honor 4X Flipkart Flash Sale 2.0 to Go Live on 6 April

Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei is set to start the second edition of Honor 4X flash sale later today (6 April).

The company's e-commerce affiliate Flipkart has confirmed that Honor 4X sale will go live Monday 2:00 pm, but there is no word on how many units will be up for grabs.

We would like to remind our readers that it is mandatory for buyers to register at Flipkart to become eligible to buy the Huawei smartphone. The company (via Twitter) has also announced that all consumers who buy Honor 4X today stand a chance to get ₹2500 worth of gift coupons and ₹500 cash-back.

Last week, the company claimed that the all units got sold-out under 1 minute, but refrained to disclose details on how many units were in stock. It has become fashionable among smartphone makers to host weekly flash sale and use social network platforms to boast their feat of selling thousands of units in handful of seconds.

But they are forgetting the fact that India houses more than 200 smartphone brands and if people find these flash-sales too tedious, they will find an alternate brand, which is not that difficult to find in this burgeoning budget smartphone segment.

For instance, popular brands -- Motorola, Xiaomi (sans Redmi 2) and Lenovo -- have begun selling their phones via open sale. It is now imperative for Huawei (and even Micromax) to re-stock their inventories with enough units to meet the demand.

For the uninitiated, Honor 4X is feature budget 4G-LTE handset. It ships with the 64-bit class Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 series quad-core SoC (System on Chip) and is backed by sumptuous 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable) and a high capacity battery, which can run the device up to 300 hours under standby time.
