Exactly a week after it was spotted on TENAA certification site, the Huawei Enjoy 7S has made its official debut in China on December 18. The mid range device has been launched with a price tag of 1,499 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,500)for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and 1,699 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,500) for the variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Huawei Enjoy 7S is currently available for pre-orders on JD.com and will go on sale from December 22.
The Enjoy 7S succeeds Huawei Enjoy 6S which was launched earlier this year. It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen which is becoming a must have for most smartphones these days. The phone also features a metal unibody design, which gives it a premium look.
Huawei Enjoy 7S Specifications
In terms of the specs, the Enjoy 7S sports a 5.65-inch FullView display with FullHD+ (2160x1080 pixels) resolution which gives it a pixel density of 427 ppi. It is powered by Huawei's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.36GHz along with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending on the storage option. The onboard memory of 32GB or 64GB is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
As far as optics are concerned, the device sports a dual camera setup at the back which is a combination of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera along with an LED flash. The front camera is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calling. There's also a fingerprint sensor at the back panel just below the dual-camera module.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS. Measuring 150.1x72.05x7.45mm, the dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery and weighs in at 143 grams.
The Huawei Enjoy 7S runs on Huawei's EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo, and it is offered in Blue, Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
Huawei also launched a mid-range smartphone with four cameras and a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio called the Huawei Nova 2s earlier this month.
