Chinese smartphone major Huawei has officially launched the company's flagship handset Ascend P6 in India.
Ascend P6 made its global debut in June earlier this year. It sports a 4.7-inch LCD screen with HD (1280x720p) resolution and weighs 120g, having thickness of just 6.18 mm, making it the slimmest smartphone in the world.
The new Huawei phone runs on the primary OS Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with the company's custom UI Emotion v1.6 and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Ascend P6 flaunts an 8.0-megapixel camera with flash support, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and can record full HD (1920x1080p) videos. On the front side, it houses a 5.0-megapixel secondary camera with HD (720x1280p) video recording ability.
With a price-tag of sub-₹30,000, the new smartphone will compete mainly against MNC brands - LG's Google Nexus 4, Sony Xperia ZR and ZL series phones, Samsung's flagship 2012 model Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 4 (16GB) and others.
Huawei Ascend P6 is reportedly priced ₹29,999. It is currently listed at multiple online stores - Flipkart, Saholic and Infibeam and is set to go on sale soon.
