Less than a week before Huawei could officially the launch its Ascend Mate in India, online shopping mart Infibeam has listed the phablet for sale with a price tag of ₹28,990.
Huawei's Ascend Mate had made its global debut at the international electronics trade event CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in January earlier in the year and was reported to unveil the device in India on 18 June in Delhi.
Ascend Mate sports a 6.1-inch LCD screen with 1280x720p display resolution and runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core processor powered by high-capacity 4050 mAh battery. It comes with 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded via microSD card, 8.0-megapixel main camera and 1.0-megapixel camera on the front.
Earlier this month, Huawei had released the MediaPad 10 Link tablet in India for ₹24,990. It sported a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive HD touch screen having 1280x800 pixel resolution and runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 quad-core processor. It packs1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card.
The device can be purchased on Flipkart.com, Infibeam.com and other e-commerce websites for ₹24,990.
