HTC's dual-core mid-range smartphone Desire XC has set its foot in to the Indian market.

Popular online shopping market, Snapdeal has started offering the HTC handset for ₹16,249. Desire XC sports a 4.0-inch WVGA LCD screen and runs on the two-generation old Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by a 1650 mAh battery.

Under the hood, it packs a 1GHz dual-core processor with 768MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory with options of expanding up to 32GB via microSD card. The HTC smartphone ships with 5.0-megapixel camera with auto-focus, LED support, however, it does not feature a secondary camera at the front.
