The much-anticipated HTC Zara smartphone will reportedly be launched with the moniker HTC Desire 601, according to popular twitter spy @evleaks.
His Twitter page read "HTC Zara will ship as the Desire 601."
Last month, the same prolific smartphone leakster had posted alleged specs of HTC Zara (aka Desire 601). The upcoming phone is expected to come with a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960p) display and run on the latest Android v4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC's custom UI Sense 5.5.
HTC Desire 601 is said to be mid-range smartphone and is expected to pack a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (MSM8930), 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (with microSD support), 8.0-megapixel camera and 2100 mAh battery.
Rumours are rife that the Taiwanese firm is also secretly working on a smaller variant of HTC Desire 601, dubbed Zara Mini, with a screen size of 4.0-inch. It is reported to pack a 1GB RAM, 8GB memory, 5.0-megapixel rear side camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera.
Both the rumoured HTC models are expected to be launched in a few months. Later this month, HTC is tipped to unleash its monster 5.9-inch full HD phablet One Max with the finger-print scanner feature.
HTC One Max will reportedly pack a super fast 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core smartphone, Adreno 330 graphics engine and run on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS with HTC Sense v5.5 UI, 2GB RAM, Ultra pixel camera (rear side) and 2.1-meapixel camera on the front side.
