Specification and image details of HTC's mid-range smartphone Zara have hit the internet again, hinting at its imminent arrival.
Serial leakster @evleaks recently leaked out a snapshot and specifications, puportedly of the much-awaited smartphone. The image showed the smartphone's rear and front design, indicating that the phone which is currently in the works will follow the same design language of HTC One.
Although the image posted by @evleaks had a '@urbanstrata' watermark on it, Jeff Gordon, HTC's Senior Global Online Communications Manager, who handles the @urbanstrata profile did not admit it. "Welcome to my new followers. If you're here because u saw my Twitter handle watermarked in an alleged leaked image, yes, I'm being trolled," he had tweeted.
Regarding the specifications of the yet-to-be-launched Zara, @evleaks said it will come with a 4.5-inch qHD display with 540x960 pixel resolution and will be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor .
Other specifications include a 2,100-mAh battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, a microSD card slot, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and HTC Sense 5.5 user interface. Previous leaks suggested that the Zara smartphone which is similar to the HTC 8X and 8S will come in a plastic frame.
There are no details about the launch of the device, but reports suggets it may make its debut in the fourth quarter.
