HTC Corporation has unveiled a Dual SIM Android smartphone in India. Named HTC Desire 526G, the smartphone falls in the entry level category in the country.
The HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM claims to bring a powerful experience with Octa-Core processor, high end camera and more in-built memory.
Boasting a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, the HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM equips 1GB worth RAM memory, expandable upto 32GB via Micro SD card slot. The Dual SIM smartphone features GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and WCDMA 900/2100MHz and is available in 2 memory variants of 8GB and 16GB.
The device also pairs a 4.7-inch qHD display with a pixel density measurement of 234PPI. The smartphone comes equipped with the essential connectivity features like 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, dual sim with dual standby, Smart SIM Switch and 3.5mm stereo audio jack. Measured at 139.8 x 69.65 x 9.8 mm, the HTC Desire 526G weighs 154g. Powered by a 2000mAh battery the device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense.
On the camera front the HTC Desire 526G flaunts a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. The 8GB variant of the device is exclusively available via Indian e-commerce company Snapdeal at Rs. 10,400 and the 16GB version is available via all major retailers across India at Rs. 11,400.
In the offered price, the HTC Desire 526G dual Sim will compete with several entry level budget smartphone including Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
