The rumoured HTC One sequel (aka M8) has been reportedly spotted at a benchmarking site revealing key features.
An Antutu benchmarking site user has leaked the scores of the alleged HTC M8 trialed against the current flagship model HTC One. The upcoming phone's prototype has managed to get an aggregate of 36,532 against its predecessor HTC One (M7), which managed a score of just 26,548 points.
The blogger was also successful to dig deep into the Antutu database to disclose the features of the forthcoming HTC marquee phone. It apparently sports a 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and runs on the latest Android OS v4.4 KitKat.
Other specs include, 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 series quad-core CPU, Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 4.0-megapixel main camera (probably 2.1 UltraPixel module) and 2.1-megapixel front camera.
Apart from bigger display size and faster chipset, HTC M8 packs pretty much the same internal hardware components as seen inside its predecessor. Since the new model is still under trial, we won't be surprised to see the final product with additional tricks up its sleeve.
Rumour has it that the second generation HTC One (M8) is slated to debut in few months time at the international telecommunication fair MWC (Mobile World Conference) 2014, Barcelona (24-27 February).
