Before the company could officially launch HTC One Mini and Desire 500 smartphones in India, an online retailer has revealed the price and begun taking orders for one of the handsets.
Online retailer Flipkart has begun selling HTC One Mini for a whopping ₹37,299, while the price for HTC Desire 500 has been revealed as ₹21,490.
The company's flagship HTC One Mini was unveiled in July. Like its name suggests, HTC One Mini sports a smaller 4.3-inch super LCD 3 HD (720x1280p) screen with pixel density of 341 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on Android v2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Inside, it packs a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and 1800 mAh battery. The miniature HTC One smartphone flaunts a 2.1-UltraPixel primary camera with dedicated ImageChip 2 processor, and a 1.6-megapixel camera with HD (720p) recording capability.
On the other hand, the mid-range HTC Desire 500 features a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800p) screen with pixel density close to 217 ppi. It ships with Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Snapdragon 200 series quad-core CPU, Adreno 203 GPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB memory (expandable up to 64GB) and 1800 mAh battery.
Other specifications include an 8.0-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and LED flash support on the rear side, 1.6-megapixel secondary camera, 1800 mAh battery, Beats audio system with dual frontal stereo speakers having built-in amplifiers.
