HTC's first ever phablet - One Max, which made its global debut just a month ago, is now available in India.
Indian telecom retail chain The Mobile Store has begun selling the new HTC phablet (16GB) for ₹53,909 on its official website.[To buy, click here]
HTC One Max sports a display that's bigger than Samsung Galaxy Note 3's 5.7-inch screen. It features a 5.9-inch full HD (1920x1080p) super LCD 3 screen with pixel density of 373 ppi (pixels per inch).
One of the striking features of the HTC phablet is its finger print sensor that unlocks the device. The square-shaped bio-metric sensor is found on its back cover, just below the camera module [Apple's recently launched iPhone 5S is the first in the mobile phone industry to come with this feature].
The device runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS with Sense v5.5 custom user-interface powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable up to 64GB). It also features a 2.0-Ultrapixel main camera (equivalent to 4.0-megapixel), 2.1-megapixel camera front-facing camera and 3300 mAh battery.
