Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is tipped to launch its much-anticipated HTC One Max phablet in China next week.
Online shop E.Price has revealed that the rumoured HTC One Max will make its global debut on 15 October in China, followed by localised launch events in Hong Kong and Taiwan on 16 and 18 October, respectively, reported Engadget.
The company has also begun to send out invites for next week's event to select media houses.
The invite (translated) read - 'One finger opens up a big view. You are invited to immerse in the sound with us'
The first line 'One Finger opens up a big view' hints that the rumoured HTC One Max will come with a massive display size and fingerprint scanner.
According to latest reports, HTC One Max is said to feature a mammoth 5.9-inch Super LCD 3 full HD (1920x1080p) screen and run on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS paired with HTC's custom UI Sense 5.5.
Apart from the fingerprint sensor, the upcoming HTC phablet will pack 2GB RAM and 32GB (is also rumoured to come with 64GB model as well) in-built memory. It is expected to come with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, not the 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU, as rumoured.
Like the original flagship HTC One, the upcoming phablet variant will reportedly feature a 2.1-Ultrapixel (equivalent to 4.0-megapixel) camera and a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
