A snapshot of HTC One (M9) has surfaced online ahead of rumoured launch early next month.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, reporter at French technology blog Nowhereelse (NWE), has tweeted an alleged promotional picture of HTC One (M9) aka HIMA and tipped that the marquee phone would make its debut at the upcoming CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015.
In the leaked photo, the HTC device is missing the trademark dual frontal speaker grill on the top and as well as the bottom. And on the display we see a big-camera image with Las Vegas in the background, the very city, which is set to host the CES 2015.
And there is HTC logo at the bottom (middle). Going by the image, we have some apprehension that this might be a fake graphic picture. Though 'Nowhereelese (NWE)' website has quite a reputation in the technology circle for getting most their reports right on the money, this one has some credibility issue, cause the device shown in the picture is missing the trademark uni-body design language and dual-frontal speakers, which made HTC One series legend among Android fans.
Another reason is that CES 2015 is happening in little over a week from now (6-11 January). If HTC had any intention of launching HTC One M9, it would have already sent out tantalising cryptic invitations to media houses by now.

Early this month, another rumour hit the Internet that Samsung's 2015 flagship phone Galaxy S6 would also be making its debut at CES. But we believe, both Samsung and HTC, being tier-1 brands will most certainly hold a separate event of their own to unveil respective marquee phones like in the past couple of years.
