All eyes are on HTC's next-generation device dubbed as HTC One (M9) and expectations are particularly high following the stupendous success of its predecessors - HTC One and HTC One (M8). The Taiwanese technology giant hasn't revealed the release date of its flagship smartphone but several reports have claimed that its launch might clash with the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The first quarter of 2015 may witness a clash of the titans as both HTC One (M9) and Samsung Galaxy S6 are very likely to see the light of the day at this time of the year.
HTC is expected to unveil its new flagship device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015) to be held in Spain from 2 to 5 March, 2015. It is also reported that Samsung might announce its much-awaited smartphone – the Galaxy S6 – at the same event though it is not confirmed.
The HTC One (M9) also has to compete with the recently launched Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus at the smartphone market.
The Taiwanese technology giant is tight-lipped about its upcoming device but several reports have revealed all the major features. It is reported that it will have several upgrades over its predecessor, HTC One (M8). It is expected to have either a 5.1-inch or 5.5-inch display with 2560x1440 screen resolution (534 ppi pixel density), will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The device is expected to house a 13MP camera and come packed with 64 or 128GB internal memory and 3GB RAM. The concept design of the device created by graphic designer Jermaine Smit is awesome. It may not be the final look but it is possible, as it has the touch of HTC One series and one can't rule out the possibility of the company going on the same lines.
