The long rumoured HTC One (M9) is making its official debut next month.
Last month, HTC tweeted a cryptic message -- "Utopia in progress. Join us to see what's next" -- for a launch event scheduled on 1 March, one day ahead of MWC (Mobile World Congress), Barcelona. While it didn't give away any hint of the flagship phone, rumour mills went on overdrive with speculations that the company may announce another Desires smartphone.
Now UK arm of the company (via Twitter) has officially confirmed that the upcoming event will indeed be the launch pad for 2015 marquee phone HTC One (M9).
"Let them stare. The new HTC One revealed 01.03.15." reads the HTC UK twitter handle.
In related development, popular twitter spy Upleaks has posted the alleged specifications of the yet-to-be released HTC One M9.
It is learnt that new HTC One will boast 5.0-inch full HD screen and run on the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense v7.0 UI. It will be powered by the 64-bit class Snapdragon 810 processor aptly backed by Adreno 420 graphics engine, 3GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory.
On photography front, it houses a feature-rich 20.7-megapixel camera on the rear-side and 4.1-UltraPixel snapper on the front.
As of now, HTC is yet to respond to the speculations. Until HTC One M9 gets officially unveiled, rumours will continue to flood the internet. So, we advise our readers to take this report with a pinch of salt.
