HTC's flagship HTC One Dual-SIM smartphone has finally set its foot into the Indian market.
Popular online retailer Flipkart has kick-started sales of the new HTC One Dual-SIM (Silver) variant with an exorbitant price-tag of ₹46,495, almost ₹3,600 more than the single-SIM HTC One (Silver) when it debuted in India a few months ago. HTC was then panned by media critics and fans alike for its hefty price. Now, it remains to be seen if they react the same way as before.
In addition to the extra SIM slot, the new variant comes with the microSD slot which can expand inbuilt memory of 32GB up to 64GB. The single-SIM model lacked memory card support.
Apart from the above two features, the new HTC One model boasts of same specifications. It sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 screen with RGB matrix having pixel density of 468 ppi (pixels per inch) and full HD 1920x1080p resolution.
HTC One dual-SIM runs on Android Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU.
The main USP of HTC device is the build quality and its camera features. It boasts of an Aluminum uni-body case with Zero Gap technology which creates a seamless and smooth metal back panel integrated with multiple antennas without interference. HTC One flaunts an innovative 2.0-ultra pixel (equivalent to 4.0-MP) main camera with an ability to absorb 300 percent more light to give a full HD-quality crisp snapshots even under low light environment. The smartphone packs a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front side. Both cameras can record full HD 1080p video.
