Press snapshots of the long-rumoured HTC One A9 have been leaked online and they reveal the smartphone's design language and colour options.
Twitter sensation Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has posted a promotional graphic photo of the alleged HTC One A9 in six colour variants, superimposed on a banner. The photot revealed the device will be available in acid gold, opal silver, deep garnet, carbon grey, rose gold and cast iron colours. Though the colour options look tantalising, the design language of HTC One A9 lacks originality like its flagship brethren One M series. It looks more like an Apple iPhone 6 clone.
The curved corners and white plastic strip at the top and the bottom is a lot like iPhone 6. The only difference between the two is that HTC's phone houses the camera in the middle, whereas the Apple device comes with a snapper at the top-left corner.
However, the similarity between Apple iPhone 6 and the soon-to-be-launched One A9 thankfully ends there. The HTC phone reportedly houses different hardware. It sports a 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) AMOLED display and comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC (System on Chip), 2GB RAM, 13mp main camera and 4-ultra-pixel camera and 2150 mAh battery.
HTC is expected to unveil One A9 (aka Aero) on 29 September along with another marquee phone, Butterfly 3, in China. Stay tuned for more updates.
