After HTC's 5.0-inch Nexus 2016 (aka Sailfish) appeared on the AnTuTu last week, its 5.7-inch variant code-named Marlin has now made a stop at the same benchmarking site, revealing key features of the device.
In the system description, the Marlin is shown to run Android Nougat OS with 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, Adreno 530 graphics card and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 series quad-core, and not 821 series as was previously rumoured.
It also features Quad HD (aka 2K) screen with 2560x1440p resolution, a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP snapper on the front, Times News reported.
As of now, there is no word on when the new HTC Nexus series will be launched, but it is widely reported that search engine giant Google will jointly announce the new product along with the new mobile OS Android Nougat by the end of August or early September.
HTC's smaller Nexus model is expected to have similar internal hardware in terms of RAM, storage and camera, but will differ in screen size and battery.
