The much anticipated smartphone, HTC M8 aka All New HTC One brochure has surfaced online, just days ahead of the official launch on 25 March revealing key specifications and price details.
Technology blog, GSMArena has got hold of the alleged All New HTC One brochure of the Australian network carrier Telstra. The pamphlet shows that the new HTC phone would boast a 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) scratch-resistant screen, Duo cameras on the rear-side and BoomSound dual-stereo speakers at the front with dedicated amplifiers. Further, the brochure details the use of the much talked Duo-camera, it is said that the camera is equipped to capture vivid photos at low-light conditions and offer professional photography editing tools to change focus/highlight the object, where to focus, soften the background and also add 3D effects.
It also says that HTC M8 will run on the Sense v6.0 UI and the interesting part is that, it boasts the double tap feature to wake the screen, similar to the 'Knock On' trade mark gesture-control feature, we find in the LG flagship smartphones.
Though there is no mention of which Android OS version the smartphone might run, it is likely to ship with the latest v4.4.2 KitKat operating system, considering the fact that the marquee devices already launched this year are powered by the same version.
The brochure has also revealed that the unlocked model of the All New HTC One would be priced at $840 Australian (around ₹46,000 in terms of Indian denomination).
Another tipster/tech enthusiast going by the name Joseph Raphael has claimed that the new HTC phone would hit stores on 8 April, just three days ahead of the global (150 nations) release of Samsung Galaxy S5 on 11 April.
Though the report has gone wild in the Internet, Taiwanese company is yet to respond to the media to clear the air over the speculations. With few days left before the official launch, we just have to wait it out till 25 March to know for certain what HTC has really in store for us.
