A few days after Taiwanese electronics major HTC launched its Facebook centric 'HTC First', speculations are rife that the company may launch a new smartphone with similar features sans the Facebook Home software.
Technology website Llab Toofer has got hold of the alleged spec sheet of HTC's speculated smartphone codenamed M4. The website revealed that the rumoured device would sport a 4.3-inch display with 720p HD resolution and pixel density of 341 ppi (pixels per inch) as seen in the recently unveiled HTC First smartphone.
It also claimed that the M4 will run on the latest Android mobile OS v4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with HTC's Sense 5.0 interface and pack a dual-core Qualcomm processor with 1.2GHz clock speed.
The device is also speculated to house an UltraPixel main camera, as seen in the company's recently flagship smartphone HTC One.
By taking note of the leaked features of the HTC M4, the smartphone looks like a hybrid with its key features borrowed from HTC One, HTC First and HTC E1 which were all released this year.
The company has not yet reacted to the speculations. Until then, these rumours have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
