Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has launched a new high-end handset, dubbed as One ME Dual in China.
The new HTC One ME is identical to the original HTC One M9 (and One E9+), which boasts the dual-tone uni-body design language with metal-frame around the edge. But, its rear-side is covered by polycarbonate material.
Inside, HTC has incorporated the latest Mediatek Helio X10 Octa-core CPU and rest of the specifications remain same as seen inside the One M9 like 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, 20mp camera with 4K video recording ability, 4mp ultra-pixel snapper on the front with full HD video recording ability and 2840 mAh battery, which can run the phone for close to 626 hours under standby mode.
Other notable feature of One ME is that it boasts fingerprint sensor on the home button with an ability to recognise five different finger impressions to unlock the phone.
As per reports, HTC One ME will be made available initially in China in meteor gray, rose gold and gold sepia colour variants, but details regarding the device's price and availability in global markets are still under wraps. We will update more on this as and when it develops.
