Taiwanese consumer electronics major HTC has launched the Desire 10 series, a mid-range smartphone inspired by the HTC 10.
HTC's new Desire 10 series comes in two variants — a top-end Pro version and a low-end model, Lifestyle. Both the models flaunt the same design language and come with unique gold-hued lining on the back and metal-frame around the edges. But they differ in internal hardware.
The Pro model sports 5.5-inch full HD display and comes packed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, MediaTek P10 octa-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, fingerprint sensor (on the back), 20MP primary camera, a 13MP snapper on the front and a 3,000mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for up to 20 days under standby mode.
On the other hand, the Lifestyle version features 5.5-inch HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13MP camera on the back, a 5MP front shooter and a 2,400mAh cell, which can power the phone for close to 28 days.

The new Desire 10 Lifestyle will be made available in the United Kingdom for £249 (approx. $325/€291/Rs 29,759) starting from September 20. Its top-end sibling, the Desire 10 Pro, is slated to hit stores next month. The price of the device of the still under wraps. Both the models will be available in stone black, polar white, royal blue and valentine lux colours.
