HTC, on Tuesday, unveiled the new mid-range smartphone dubbed the Desire 830 in Taiwan.
The new HTC Desire 830 is said to be the successor of 2015 model Desire 820 and comes with major upgrades in terms of internal hardware.
It sports 5.5-inch full HD display and comes with 64-bit class 1.5GHz MediaTek Helio X10 backed by ARM Mali-T720 graphics engine, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a 2800mAh battery.
Desire 830 also houses a 13MP primary camera on the back with LED Flash, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, a 4µp (UltraPixel) front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 26.8mm wide-angle lens and BoomSound stereo speakers with Dolby audio technology.
HTC Desire 830 release and price details:
HTC has confirmed that the new Desire 830 will be released initially in the company's home market Taiwan May 6 onwards for NTD9,990 (around $309/€269/Rs. 20,590). It will be available in white/orange and white/blue colour combinations.
As of now, there is no official word from HTC on when Desire 830 will be made available in international markets.
