Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC on Thursday released the dual-SIM Desire XDS, almost seven months after its single-SIM sibling, Desire X, made its India debut in October 2012.
HTC Desire XDS sports a 4.0-inch Super LCD screen with 800x480 pixel resolution and packs a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor with 768MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
Considering the other smartphones in the price range of ₹16,000, HTC Desire XDS fares poorly as it comes with an older mobile OS Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and lacks a secondary camera.
HTC Desire XDS is currently available at online shopping mart Saholic.com for ₹16,089.
In related news, HTC, just a couple of days ago, had launched the dual-SIM Desire U for ₹13,499 which too features internal hardware and software specifications similar to that of Desire XDS.
