HTC's mid-range smartphone Desire 826, which was unveiled at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015 is set to go on sale in India soon.
Mumbai-based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom (via Facebook) has claimed that HTC's Desire 826 unit shipments are on way to India and will be released in few days. The phone has been priced at ₹26,200.
HTC Desire 826 sports 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop (with HTC Sense v6.0 UI), 64-bit class Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), Adreno 405 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2600 mAh battery.
On the photography front, it houses a feature-rich 13mp camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor, 28 mm lens, full HD video recording and a 4-ultra-pixel snapper with wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture.
Competition:
Once released, HTC Desire 826 will be up against Micromax YU Yureka, Xiaomi Mi4, Sony Xperia C3, Samsung Galaxy A7 and soon-to-be-launched Asus Zenfone 2.
