Taiwanese tech firm HTC officially launched its mid-range Desire 600 smartphone in the Indian market on Thursday with a price tag of ₹26,990.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a.5-inch Super LCD2 screen with 540X960 pixel resolution powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card slot.
Other specifications include Android Jelly Bean OS along with HTC Sense 5.0, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front-facing snapper, Dual-band HSPA, tri-band GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, NFC, GPS, and AGPS.
Other specifications include BlinkFeed, dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and an 1860 mAh battery which claims a delivery of up to 11 hours of talktime and over 500 hours of standby time. Its dual active technology enable users to receive calls even when the other SIM card is active.
The smartphone was up for pre-orders in India through various online retailers from the first week of July,
