Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is reportedly set to launch its much rumoured Butterfly S smartphone and the miniature variant of HTC One in mid-June and mid-July, respectively.
The company which has been in the news for its HTC One with stock Android is said to be readying the upgraded version of the Butterfly S smartphone. According to eprice.com.tw, HTC is working on a new S Butterfly smartphone with the same 5-inch 1080p screen, but with an UltraPixel camera and higher capacity battery than the current HTC version of One. The smartphone is tipped for a launch in mid-June.
Along with the upgraded HTC S, the other device which is rumoured is the smaller version of HTC One, codenamed HTC One mini aka M4. The device which is expected to be an opponent to Galaxy S4 mini will be releasing in mid-July, said the report. The smaller HTC One, has been doing the rounds for some time. Earlier this week, purported image of HTC M4 popped online.
According to the report, the device is likely to come with a 4.3-inch HD display with 720p resolution and is expected to be powered by a dual-core processor. Other stipulated features of HTC M4 include 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Beats Audio ,LTE connectivity and 1,700mAh battery removable battery. The device is expected to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with Sense 5.
Apart from these smartphones, HTC is also rumoured to launch its best selling HTC One smartphone in two new colour variants, reportedly in red and blue in mid-July.
