In an industry like Bollywood, it's tough to make a friendship stay. Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan's rapport is believed to have gone sour, courtesy the impending box office clash — Raees Vs. Kaabil — on January 26.
At a recently-concluded media interaction, Roshan burst the bubble. He and Khan are still friends and will continue to be so. "Shah Rukh and I are friends and we both know each other well enough to make sure that there is absolutely no negativity. In fact it's hopefully going to be the most positive experience for both of us and our fans," PTI quoted the Kaabil star as saying.
This comes after reports hinting at a possible cold war between the actors. Apparently, Khan and Roshan hardly talk or meet socially, a source informed BollywoodLife earlier this year.
How did the clash happen? Wasn't Raees supposed to release on July 6, same day as Salman Khan's Sultan?
Khan and his team had planned to release it earlier, but because the superstar had shot action sequences while on injury, they didn't turn out looking as good as was expected. Therefore, the makers thought it wise to reshoot those portions and release it on a later date.
For a little while, it was being said that Raees would release on October 28 alongside Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay. Clearly, that didn't happen. However, what's more surprising is that the Raees promotions haven't begun yet.
Sources say, SRK has plans of attaching the Raees trailer with prints of Dear Zindagi. "SRK has planned to attach the trailer of Raees to the prints of Dear Zindagi and there will be a huge launch event just a day or two before Dear Zindagi releases," a source told DNA.
Dear Zindagi is scheduled to be released on November 25.
