Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor recreated the romance in the remake of "Aashiqui" (1990) song, "Dheere Dheere Se".
The track, sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh, was released on 31 August and it has garnered appreciations from all quarters, including "Aashiqui" actor Rahul Roy.
The actor said he felt nostalgic seeing the song video and thinks both Hrithik and Sonam looked divine in it.
"It is beautifully shot. Both Hrithik and Sonam look divine in the song. Honey Singh has done an amazing job. It has taken me back like it was only yesterday that we shot the song. It is simply awesome," Roy told Bollywood Life.
T-Series chief Bhushan Kumar, son of Gulshan Kumar, wanted to create the music video to pay tribute to the classic film of the 90s as it completes 25 glorious years this year.
Sonam and Hrithik shot the entire song in Antalya, Turkey, and the viewers will see some exotic locations in the four-minute-fifty-two-second-long video.
The makers said they aren't looking to make money with the new version of the classic and that any revenue from the video will go to a charity. Both Hrithik and Honey Singh haven't charged a dime for their work.
Meanwhile, the 'Greek God' of Bollywood is currently busy with Ashutosh Gowariker's period film "Mohenjo Daro". On the other hand, Sonam will next be seen in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" opposite Salman Khan.
