Hrithik Roshan's "Kaabil," which will release early next year, has started making waves in the film industry. The first teaser of the film has become successful in generating curiosity among audiences.
The teaser, which was released last week by Hrithik, was revealed on the same day the film went on floors. This is for the first time, a teaser and poster was released on the first day of the film's shoot. Both, teaser and poster, went viral on social media platforms and it also received a positive response from the viewers.
In just a week, the teaser has garnered approximately 3.7 million hits across all social media platforms. The teaser went viral on Facebook with 3.2 million views, 5 lakh views on Youtube and on Instagram it received 1 lakh hits.
The poster and teaser feature Hrithik's green eyes, which hints that the film will be an intense revenge drama. Hrithik plays the role of a blind man, while Yami Gautam plays the role of his wife. The storyline revolves around Hrithik and how he takes revenge from his wife's murderers despite being a blind.
Hrithik and Yami started shooting for the film last week and have already shot for few scenes. Apparently, the makers are planning for a grand entry scene to introduce Hrithik in the film.
"Kaabil," directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, will be released on Jan. 26, 2017, and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" worldwide.
