The shooting schedule of Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" went for a toss after Hrithik Roshan suffered an injury on the sets of the flick. The latest report suggests that the shooting schedule will be delayed further as Roshan has been advised to take five more weeks of rest.
Hrithik tore a ligament while shooting an action scene for the film "Mohenjo Daro." The actor was advised bed rest for minimum four weeks and was expected to resume shooting by mid-February. But it looks like the shooting will not resume anytime soon, as the injury is serious and the actor needs to take five more weeks of rest, Spotboye.com reports.
The makers are yet to finish the shooting schedule of the "Mohenjo Daro." The team was working on the last schedule of the film, when Hrithik suffered an injury. Gowariker is yet to shoot 10 to 20 percent of the film and to finish that portion, Hrithik was supposed to start shooting from February, according to Spotboye.com. But now, doctors will do a final checkup in March, following which the actor can resume shooting.
Earlier, Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan had confirmed to Pinkvilla about his injury, but there was no official announcement about the recent development.
Meanwhile, after "Mohenjo Daro", Hrithik will romance Yami Gautam in Sanjay Gupta's directorial "Kaabil." Rakesh, who will produce the film, confirmed the reports and told The Times Of India that Gautam and Hrithik will make a fresh pair.
"Yami is a fine actress and makes a fresh pairing with Hrithik. She suits the role to the T and we are glad to have her on board. After a long time, I have heard a novel story with all the commercial ingredients, so I'm very excited about it," Rakesh told TOI.
