The recently released song video "Befikra" features Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, but it is Hrithik Roshan who was initially roped in alongside the "Baaghi" actor.
It was supposed to be an inspirational song featuring Tiger and Hrithik, but the "Mohenjo Daro" actor's last minute injury forced the makers to change the song and replace Hrithik with Tiger's rumoured girlfriend Disha.
"I was actually going to do this song with Hrithik Roshan as a part of HRX, but last minute he got injured and coz of that we changed the track. So Bhushan sir changed it to 'Befikra' and our director Sam sir wanted to direct the song with me, so he retained me," Bollywoodlife quoted Tiger as saying.
Revealing how Disha was finalised as Hrithik's replacement, Tiger said: "Sam sir was looking for a girl, after Hrithik couldn't be a part of the song. He saw a video of Disha dancing and he was taken aback by it. So the cast was locked." Tiger has always been vocal about how he considers Hrithik as his inspiration and tries to follow him.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, "Befikra" is a fun-filled song that showcases a sizzling chemistry between Tiger and Disha. The music video, directed by Sam Bombay, also exhibits the duo's dancing skills.
Meanwhile, Hrithik will soon be seen on the big screen with his upcoming movie "Mohenjo Daro." Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the historic period drama features Bollywood debutant Pooja Hegde alongside the actor. The trailer of "Mohenjo Daro" was released some time back, which was praised by many and at the same time criticised by some for allegedly wrongly portraying the historic era. The film will hit screens on Aug. 12.
