Two of Bollywood's finest dancers — Hrithik Roshan and Varun Dhawan — may come together to judge a dance reality show. &TV has acquired the rights for the Indian version of "So You Think You Can Dance?"
"Auditions will begin in March and the project is expected to roll by May-June. The team has shortlisted some actors and choreographers who they hope to get on board before the show is to be launched. It will be promoted in a big way. They will soon get in touch with Hrithik and Varun's managers and are hoping to crack a deal," a source informed Mumbai Mirror.
While the show will not depart much from the original format, minor tweaking will be done in order to suit Indian viewers. Now, the question remains if the stars would take up the project, with Hrithik recovering from his ligament injury and Varun having a bunch of films to finish and begin.
A few portions and a song of "Mohenjo Daro" are to be shot, but the Hrithik's health conditions have delayed the shoot. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the period drama features newcomer Pooja Hegde and the movie would hit screens on Aug. 12. His next film "Kaabil," with Yami Gautam, is yet to begin and then he, in all probabilities, will take up Yash Raj Films' "Thug."
Varun is busy filming elder brother Rohit Dhawan's "Dishoom" with John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. On the completion of "Dishoom," he will take up "Judwaa 2," in which the search for the lead actress role still continues with Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt are some of the names that are being considered for it.
