Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif will be romancing each other for the second time after superhit film "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara". The pair will be working together in the Hindi remake of Hollywood flick "Knight and Day".
The shooting of Fox Star Studios' next production "Bang Bang" will begin on 1 May and it will release on the same date next year, according to various media reports.
"Bang Bang" will be directed by Siddharth Anand, who has films like "Bachna Ae Haseeno", "Salaam Namaste", "Ta Ra Rum Pum" and "Anjaana Anjaani" to his credit.
Hrithik will play the character of Tom Cruise in the Bollywood version, while Katrina will play Cameron Diaz's character.
"We have signed Hrithik and Katrina for the Hindi remake of the film," Vivek Krishnani, Fox Star Studios, Head of Distribution -- marketing and syndication said last year.
The shooting of the film will take place in across Europe, Far East and India. The film is set to feature "spectacular stunt sequences, intense chemistry and edge-of-the-seat excitement, as Hrithik and Katrina will scorch the silver screens in never-seen-before avatars", said a statement.
"The Hrithik-Katrina pairing in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was well received by the audience. Besides, both of them are very popular with the youth," CEO of Fox Star Studio Vijay Singh last year.
"Knight and Day" is 2010 action thriller directed by James Mangold and had received mixed response at the box office.
