With the recently released Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer "Bang Bang" doing incredibly well at the box office, the makers have a sequel already in mind.
"Sequel obviously zehn main hai but we need a good story. If you have seen 'Bang Bang' then you know its also an emotional journey. Its a revenge film but its hasn't been promoted like that. So the story is what compelled us and Hrithik to make this film. If we can get a story which can match the emotional depth then we can make Bang Bang 2," director Siddharth Anand told Bollywood Life.
The actor, who has been exceedingly proud of his "Bang Bang", went through physical and emotional turmoil during its shoot. A brain surgery and separation from his 14-year-old marriage with Susanne Khan did take a toll on the actor, but eventually he emerged victorious.
Crediting the success to the entire star cast, the superstar told IANS, "That is so cool. Opening higher than a franchise film like 'Krrish 3' and beating my own record is one way to realise my own growth and strength. But after that, it's not about me, I'm just glad I've been able to entertain my audience."
Prepping for Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro", Roshan reportedly said he was keen on taking a break before beginning the film.
Set in the era of Indus Valley Civilisation, the period drama will require the actor to put in more grueling hours and absolute hard work. Set for 26 January 2016 release, the film is essentially a period drama and a love story.
"It's going to be a very big film, a very big dream. I am working with Ashutosh for the second time. He's the first director with whom I'm working with for the second time. This is going to be interesting," IANS quoted the actor.
