Hrithik Roshan Joins Shah Rukh Khan as Brand Ambassador of Fairness Face Wash

Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan has joined his "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" co-star Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador of an instant fairness face product.

The "Bang Bang" actor is the second celebrity to endorse the FMCG major Emami men's face wash product, a statement said on Monday.

"With this, Hrithik becomes the second celebrity to join the Fair and Handsome portfolio after eight long years since Shah Rukh Khan first started endorsing the brand," the release said.

"In the Indian summer, however tough men may be, it is but natural for men's skin to be over-exposed to sunlight, sweat, oil and dirt due to the strenuous demands of the present day environment," Hrithik said in the statement.

"I experience them regularly as my shoots take me outdoors, ruthlessly exposing my skin to these elements," he said.

Hrithik further said that the face wash gives him a "refreshed feel and an instantly brighter look and I am glad the brand is putting emphasis on this aspect."

A television commercial related to the face wash starring Hrithik will be broadcast soon. But it remains to be seen whether Shah Rukh and Hrithik will share the small screen together for the brand endorsement.

Shah Rukh and Hrithik have worked together in films like "Don 2" and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham" among others.

Meanwhile, Hrithik has joined the long list of celebrities who endorse fairness creams. Bollywood celebs, including Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham, Sonali Bendre and Yami Gautam among others have endorsed fairness creams.
