Sussanne Khan has reportedly demanded a whopping ₹400 crore from Hrithik Roshan as alimony.
And the actor has even agreed to pay a sum of ₹380 crore as settlement, according to Bollywood Life.
The massive alimony has raised quite a few eyebrows as Sussanne is an established interior decorator and has a store, named The Charcoal Project, in the posh area of Mumbai. She also has a joint venture business with Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan.
Hrithik and Sussanne had shocked fans when they called off their marriage of 14 years, back in December. The couple, however, made no allegations against each other.
And in April, the duo filed for divorce, after which Sussanne was granted the custody of their children Hrehaan (7) and Hridaan (5). The hearing date for the divorce has been scheduled for 31 October.
But despite having their differences, Hrithik and Sussanne make appearances together for the sake of their sons, and were recently spotted together at their son's birthday party in Lonavala.
The couple, who got married in 2000 after a four-year relationship, had announced their separation on 14 December and had issued two separate statements to the media.
The "Bang Bang" actor had hinted that it was Sussanne who decided to walk out of their marriage.
"This is my greatest tribute to love. Sussanne is and always will be the love of my life for the rest of my life. If her smiles are brighter without me, my love for her must accomplish that," Hrithik wrote on his Facebook page.
Sussanne also issued a statement, saying: "We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our own individual choices. We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that. Would appreciate if we are given our privacy in such a time. Thank you for your warmth and concern for both of us and the family," reported Indian Express
Sussanne had mentioned that Hrithik and her are parents of two wonderful children and their priorities as parents would remain the same.
